Hello and welcome back again. Today I continue with the travelreport of the tankmuseum in Saumur, here is part II. Quite a lot of people have already seen the first part even so that some of the pictures are unfortunately not uof the best quality. So I hope you enjoy this batch as well and come back for even more, cause there are still a few more hundred of them left. The work on my book is going well and I should be able to finish the very last things on it within the next week. As soon as this happens it will take only one week until the first book will be printed and then it should be available to everyone. Here are some facts about the book: Hardcover, size is 21 x 29cm (H x W) 82 pages, over 90 pictures, 6 of them black & white, the rest is in full color. The book is divided in 3 sections, a technical documentation with 3 plans of the ship included, a historical documentation with some never seen before photos and finally a chapter about the model, its construction and off course the finished model with several large full color photos. The realization of this book has been very time consuming and not exactly cheap for me. That's the reason why I decided that the book will be made as a "book on demand" which means that sometimes I will have to wait for new copies for a few days until I can ship them. Sofar it is not planned to sell this book anywhere else than through this website. However if you should be interested in buying this book, please be so kind and let me know, because this will help me to order them in advance and keep the costs down a little bit. If you have any questions concerning this book, feel free to get in contact with me. Keep on modeling, René Hieronymus |
